Mortal Kombat OC - Elika: Goddess of the Skies.

This OC is related to a Canon Character in this media, don't like it; You can go back. 
However the Artist wants criticism about her work.
This is meant for story ideas from the artist and what research she did.
There's going to be an Update later on this.
Also yes it isn't base on any Japaneses lore since Mortal Kombat is has it own lore with gods, I took creative license.


I finally finish this character!!    This character was underdevelopment for almost half a year!!!

Anyway everyone welcome to my Mortal Kombat OC Elika; the Goddess of the Skies. And I know what your thinking 'God characther!?!? BORING!! MARY-SUE!!'' I know, but this character wasn't meant to be a full on character back then. She was suppose to be a flashback character.
Back on Quizilla *remember that site?) I made a RaidenXCharacter story and on chapter 8 I decide to give him a backstory since we still don't how and when Raiden decides to protect Earthrealm, after seeing Let's plays, playing it myself, movies, tv shows and research  on MK Wikia I put together a story, however it wasn't finish since other story ideas were forming and I didn't go back to it due to writer's block, I still have it on my save files maybe one day I'll post it up.
When Mortal Kombat X came, new ideas filled in my head so I thought 'Why not' and run with it.
So here's a bit of her profile~ I'll try and not make it wordy.


Name: Elika: Goddess of the Skies and Storms (Name meaning; God will Develop/Pelican of God)

Gender: Female

Origin: Heaven with the Elder Gods

Species: Goddess

Age: Immortal thou appears in her late 30s early 40s with some small wrinkles under her eyes

Height: 5.4 (She's shorter then Raiden and Fujin)

Fighting Style: Tai-Chi mix with Chinese dancing style

Profile: Elika is the goddess of the Skies and the mother of the thunder god and the wind god; the protectors of Earthrealm; Raiden and Fujin. She's more opened minded and righteous then her fellow Elder Gods; which her son takes after.
Also a protector of a Realm for 1,000 years; however an outside invasion: Outworlders enter the realm and murder everyone; Elder Gods were inform but refuse to do anything and let her go to protect it, after the blood shed was over, she enter the realm that is now a waste land, blood and dead bodies all around, guilty fill her heart that she wasn't there to protect it.
Graceful in combat but deadly with her dances moves among with her weapon.
Never gaining the Elder God status thou she does join their court for matters.

Personality: Kind, Polite, Social Butterfly, *She loves meeting new people with a bow and if she knows their names, she gives them a hug thou she doesn't have a clue it makes them feel awkward* Very well manners, Eager learner and A threat when angered, she adores children and devoted to her sons.

• Original Timeline (MK 1 to MK: Armageddon) Thou physical injured while fighting Shinnok after turning against them, she fight him thou she lost her physical form; dead.
• What if Orignal Timeline
  - Deception:When Raiden tried to destroy Onaga by showing his god essence but fail, The Elder Gods knew they need more help to stop the Dragon king, they revive Elika to stop him, she was inform that she has died and now have a new mission. She's willing to it, as long she sees her sons again. And eventually met up with Shojinko.
  -Armageddon: While trying to find her sons but heading to defeat Onaga, she met up with a warrior who knows her, when question she realize that is Taven all grown up. They caught up but it was short lived, The half-god told her that he saw Fujin and where he is, Of course she took his advice and went to find Fujin; unware that both her and Fujin will met up with heartache with family.
• New Timeline (MK 9/2011 to MK: X, MK11) Due to messing around in the timeline, after the first defeat of Shinnok, She was awoken up when when Raiden and Fujin were asign to defend Earthrealm. Elika felt something was missing and couldn't put the pieces together and wanted to see her sons while asking the questions but Cetrioin stated they were busy and gathering warriors to protect the realm. Begrudging she agree with her comrade however she sneak in to see how her sons are. When visions change the timeline and defended Shao Kahn; both Raiden and Fujin return to the Elder Gods to see what's next for Earthrealm. After the meeting Elika decide to see her sons. Both were shock see her alive, when they ask her questions about when she woke up, she gave an honest answer to her sons. They explain to her what happen; her death, the first timeline and all to now. She was of course shock to find out she 'had' died before as they slowly put the pieces together but still have alot of un-answer questions. They all decide to just leave it for now since they are going no were and enjoy the time they lost. She has gone to Earthrealm a few times and had met up with everyone who is just surprise to find out Raiden and Fujin has a parent.  (Added this July, 2021)she's teaching young gods about the realms and what they can do to protect it.
• She join Raiden when Li-Mei with her outworld refuges, she stated of Shinnok's amulet, fear but anger grip her being knowing her old friend that killed her will return.
• Two years when Raiden took over by the corruption by Shinnok's power, she search all over to destroy that amulet however she was appalled by Raiden's actions she knows full well she has to take him down even if she didn't want to. To her shock events unfolded. 

Powers: Mostly weather base; like thunder, wind, water and ice. Using power to control air pressure all around her, she can cut off your air supply, or use it to pin her opponents down on the ground where she can break their limps, she has a little bit of lightning and wind powers but not as strong has her sons' powers. She also has a bit of ice powers but again not as Strong as Sub-Zero brothers.

  Earthrealm - Has enter it and met many different people, She enjoys sending time with Earthrealm Defenders, Her and Johnny Cage have strange friendship much to Raiden annoyance but she doesn't understand the actor's lingo at times and have to ask Raiden and Fujin for it. 
  Cetrion - (Neutral) Not much beside consult meetings but have casual conversations every now and then.

Trivia:
-She's like a genderbend Susano but has her own Backstory and not base off the Japanese lore.
-Died in the first timeline but has a 'What ifs' and outfits.
-Everyone states Raiden get her looks from her while Fujin took after her personality a little.
-Enjoys entering other Realms and exploring them, even the Neatherrealm; she hasn't killed any demons due to some are lost souls but she'll defend herself if necessary.
-Elika was never proud of 'Dark' Raiden actions when threating the realms; she understands the anger and fear he press down during the centuries had come out when each corruption Onaga from the first timeline and Shinnok's power in the Jinsei as Raiden had to cleanse it which resulted; as much it pains her, she has to fight her son and put him down when the time comes.
